Yukiko Naoi is a seasoned industrial designer and medical design expert with over two decades of experience in product development, healthcare innovation, and structural packaging. As Design Director at Interwoven Design Group, she leads the studio’s medical and packaging design strategy, bringing a unique multidisciplinary approach that merges human-centered design, regulatory expertise, and real-world clinical insights.
Before joining Interwoven, Yukiko served as President of Tanaka Kapec Design Group (TKDG), where she spearheaded groundbreaking work in medical devices, diagnostics, and personal care products. Her leadership shaped projects for global healthcare companies, including AstraZeneca, Bausch + Lomb, and Johnson & Johnson, with a focus on usability, human factors research, and design for manufacturing. Her deep knowledge of regulatory compliance and patient safety has influenced industry-leading medical packaging solutions that enhance user experience and patient outcomes.
